With its roots in the agricultural past of Orange County, Knott's Berry Farm is actually located on an area that used to be a berry farm. The introduction of themed rides and attractions, sometime back in the 30's, was done as a commercial stunt to attract customers.
Today Knott's Berry Farm is a relatively large-scale theme park which is both less crowded and much more thrilling than Disneyland.
Visitor can enjoy several roller coasters, which perform vertical maneuvers as well as more tame rides.
